This Pod Point solo EV charger. 7kW, Type 2, Untethered is available to purchase with or without installation. If installation is required, please select the installation option at checkout. Please note, the price given does not include installation – we will contact you after your purchase to discuss your requirements and provide a quote.
- Comes with a single-phase Type 2 universal socket
- Any electric car can charge if user has a compatible charging cable (sold separately)
- Charge scheduling available on accompanying app, giving you the option to charge when electricity is cheapest
- Domestic install only (the warranty and OZEV EVHS grant are valid for domestic installation only and the warranty only when installation is carried out by a Pod Point certified installer)
- Fitted with earth-neutral failure protection which removes need for an earth rod or isolation transformer
- Safely manages power with built-in load balancing
- Overcurrent protection: Requires 30mA RCBO Type A installed at source
- Includes an on-board 6mA DC leakage protection and fully compliant with BS7671:2018
- Wi-Fi connectivity enables remote support, diagnostic checking and firmware updates
- Charging Protocol: Mode 3 on IEC 62196 socket
- Not compatible with the Pod Point Pay-As-You-Go system – this unit will use the tariff of the premises (ideal for home use)
