What is the Workplace Charging Scheme?

The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a Government initiative that provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge-points, for eligible businesses, charities, and public sector organisations.

You could save your business up to £14,000, and help to protect the planet at the same time – it’s a win-win situation!

How does it work?

The UK is dedicated to improving air quality and reducing pollution in our towns and cities.

To encourage more people to make the switch to electric, providing a network of dependable charging points is crucial.

That’s why the government now makes a £350 contribution towards the purchase and installation of charging points for businesses – for up to 40 sockets and to a limit of £14,000.

All you have to do is complete the online application form. Successful applicants will be given a voucher code to pass on to your OZEV-approved installer (us). We can then complete your installation and claim the grant on your behalf.

Am I Eligible?

To be eligible to apply for the government grant you must be a registered business, charity, or public sector organisation situated in England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland.

You must also be able to state a need for an EV charging point, or an intent to encourage commitment among staff and/or fleet. Your premises must have a dedicated off-street parking, and you should hold possession over the property or have permission from the landlord.
